In 2018 I started to collaborate with Backwarenoutlet in Basel, a store which sells leftover bread from local bakeries. I had the idea to save fruits and vegetables from a local wholesaler, who sorts them out of reasons like quality, aesthetical standards or if he isn’t able to sell them. I organized a team which goes there to sort the products out and keeps the sellable and consumable products. We bring a part of the sellable products to the store and the rest we deliver straight to Foodsharing or Soup and Chill.

Everyday at 7 p.m. the customers from Backwarenoutlet go through the products and donate them to people with low income.
